Available for engagements. Email or text to book.

I'm Rose, a vMix operator, graphics integrator, and engineer in charge based in New York City. Since 2019 I've been running desks at esports tournaments, corporate roadshows, satellite media tours, concerts, and live broadcasts, making sure the show goes out clean and on time.

I got into production sideways. Digital Humanities degree from RIT, a League of Legends casting gig in college, and a lot of hours during the COVID lockdown teaching myself vMix from the ground up. What started as necessity turned into a career I've built deliberately. My edge is on the technical side: custom graphics integration, XML and API-driven data sources, VB.NET scripting for vMix automation, and building the kind of dashboards that let a small crew punch above their weight.

I operate through Rose Media Group and work locally in New York and regionally to DC and Boston. For esports productions, I'm also available remote, running a dedicated studio set up for multi-caller shows at 1080p60 with records.

If you're looking for someone who can own the desk, own the technical decisions, and keep the show moving, let's talk.

What I do

Based in New York City. Available locally, regionally by train to DC and Boston, and remote for esports.

vMix Operator

on-site · remote

Live show switching from the desk. Comfortable running full productions solo or slotting into larger crews as the dedicated switcher.

Graphics Integration

on-site · remote

Custom overlays, animated packages, XML and API-driven data sources. If your show needs live data in the graphics, that's a specialty, not an afterthought.

Engineer in Charge (EIC)

on-site

Signal flow ownership, troubleshooting under pressure, show leadership. The person who knows every cable and every contingency before the show goes live.

Data Engineer

on-site · remote

Custom data pipelines for live production. XML and API-driven vMix data sources, VB.NET scripting, and backend infrastructure that keeps graphics fed with live data throughout the show.

Technical Director

on-site

Full TD role for smaller-to-midsize productions. Pre-production planning through post-show wrap.

Associate Producer

on-site · remote

Rundown management, crew coordination, show-day problem solving. Comfortable stepping into AP responsibilities when the production needs it.

Remote Esports Production

remote

Dedicated home studio for multi-caller esports shows. 1080p60 with records. vMix switching, graphics, and data pipeline from a purpose-built remote rig.

A platform, not just an operator

Beyond running the desk, I bring a broadcast platform I built and host myself. Two client-facing services run on a shared foundation called Trellis: LIANA for live data and graphics, SPICA for rundowns and timing. All of it built to fit how shows actually run rather than bent around someone else's tool.

📡

LIANA

Runs on Trellis

A multi-tenant broadcast data CMS. Replaces Google Sheets as the source of truth for live show graphics: rosters, schedules, brackets, head-to-heads, and talent predictions, all editable through a web UI and piped straight into vMix as live data sources. First tenant: CBLOL UE.

SPICA

Runs on Trellis

Broadcast rundowns and show timing. Run-of-show blocks with cascading segment timing, a live operator panel for show night, client-scoped rosters, and call sheets seeded from them: the running order, the clock, and the paperwork, in the same platform that feeds the graphics.

Trellis

The platform the rest run on: one API, one identity, many integrations. LIANA and SPICA share a single login and database because Trellis gives them that. Each integration climbs the same lattice under its own URL prefix, on shared auth (accounts, sessions, TOTP MFA), multi-tenancy, and a snapshot-guarded deploy pipeline. It began as a tournament API and grew into the platform everything else stands on.

What runs beneath

The production work is visible. Here's what I've built to support it.

🎛

Broadcast Production Toolkit

Self-hosted

A set of self-hosted production tools built to harden the show-night layer: validation that catches silent failures before air, telemetry that surfaces incidents as they happen, logs that survive past the truck. Each runs locally with no framework dependencies, no CDN, no build pipeline. Built for show-day resilience over developer convenience.

  • XYLIX: a real-time stream-health dashboard with bitrate trends, dropped-frame alerts, encoder state, and a timestamped incident log on one screen.
  • EiC Check: a pre-broadcast go/no-go validator. Checks vMix state, integration endpoints, and dependency services in parallel, surfacing what's missing before air rather than during.
  • Show Event Log: a production log for show night. Timestamped, category-tagged entries (segments, graphics calls, replays, incidents) that become the post-show debrief source of truth.
  • GT Binding Validator: catches silent graphic-template binding failures before air. Cross-references vMix GT field names against the live data feed and flags mismatches the operator can fix.
  • Event show-day rundowns: per-show observer trackers, draft boards, and bracket/scoring tools built to fit each event's format. Shipped instances: CoD pick/ban, LoL rundown + draft, 2XKO rundown with bracket and live game/round scoring.
